Happy Birthday Uncle Brian!
I sent you an email because you are on your honeymoon in Jamaica and the cost of a phone call is way too much!
We also celebrated Uncle Brandon's birthday on May 18th at the beach house. Aunt Becky decorated with streamers and everyone sang "Happy Birthday"
Sadie and Georgie had some bonding time.
(Sadie was so happy to have someone she could hug who couldn't escape.)
The Turner kid caravan. This is what it took to get all 5 kids to the beach or the pool. I don't have any pictures of the adults carrying all the stuff that goes along with the children.
(Side note: nobody warned be that there is a correlation between size of the child and amount of stuff that must accompany them on outings. It seems that the smaller the child is the greater amount of things are needed. By my observation a baby needs about 4 times its weight/size in stuff (diapers, wipes, clothes, food, bottle, blankets, sunblock). So just think, we had 2 babies, 2 three-year-olds and a very helpful 5 year old.
On the way there was a fenced in swamp (or fenced out depending on how you look at it). Mommy took a picture of the Mama alligator and a turtle. There were also about 10 babies who were waiting patiently under the blue heron's nest for one of the hatchlings to fall.
These birds seem way too big to be in trees.
The mama blue heron and her chicks.
