9-25-2011 Treasure Hunt

Team Turner went geocaching for the first time.
(Next time there will definitely be some adjustment to the preparation.)

After our long walk, Sadie and Daddy headed into the woods to find the treasure.
This is the only shot I got of Sadie - she was all over the place.

Dash and Mommy stayed out of the woods and were being silly with the water bottle.

Daddy had to climb a tree to find the cache.
Sadie put her initials and the date.

We tried to find another cache close by, but it was deep in the woods and both Mommy and Daddy fell into the muddy creek - over the tops of their shoes (yuk!).  Mommy then proclaimed that there was too much poison ivy, her feet were wet, it was getting close to lunch and we had a long walk home.
(I know I wimped out)

The whole ordeal wore little guy out.

9-24-2011 Applefest 2011

Team Turner

We started at Grandma's house where Dash's new thing is that he loves to climb on the couch, lean back, and them climb down, repeat.

It is almost impossible to get a picture of the kids - he is ALWAYS moving.

He climbed up here on his own - doesn't he look proud?

Paw Paw is so fun.

Trying to get a picture with Dash - you can almost hear him grunting to get down.

Grandma got Sadie a new book and they read it together.

At Lawrence Orchards they had a petting zoo for the kids - we wore boots (watch your step)

It is time to retire this skirt.

While Sadie fed the animals, Dash fed himself - gross corn.

Here we are on the wagon ride.

Grandma and Paw Paw and half of the apples we picked.

Do they have braces for llamas?

Sadie really liked the hay maze.

Sadie 2011 - 3 years

Sadie 2009 - 1 year

Dash 2011 - 1 year

We bumped into our friends the Robinsons and Dash took an immediate liking to Jake - Jake was still unsure.

Sadie and Hailey squealed, hugged and chased each other around.  (instant best friends)

Later Mommy, Daddy, and the kids went through the field maze (this made Mommy's eyes itch)

Look at those adorable cheeks - red from running and being excited.

She did manage to capture some really pretty pictures of Sadie.

9-15-2011 Grandma and Jill

The Cooper girls stopped for dinner on their way back from Ikea.

What a big boy (and a messy face!)

9-10-2011 Baseball Hall of Fame

For Daddy's birthday, Paw Paw and Papa (that's Tris and Fint) took Adam to Cooperstown.
They also got Daddy a baseball bat with his name on it. It is pretty cool.

Below are some of the pictures Daddy took.

What a cute little town.

Mommy's not sure who this is, but cool picture.
only 62 years ago.

Tris next to a picture of his namesake.

No kids and a ton of baseball stuff - could Daddy be the luckiest man  in the world?

Here they are outside the Hall of Fame - Cooperstown, are you ready for this much handsomeness?

Mommy thinks it looks like a building at Miami (with more energy efficient windows).
