It was a beautiful fall day - and what do the Turners do on beautiful fall days - rake the leaves.
This is the first round of raking - about half of the leaves are down and Daddy already mowed some of the leaves up last week.
The leaves were causing traffic issues in the front yard.
The wait was so long, some decided to just abandon their cars.
Dash thought he could help take care of the problem.
Then he wanted to play in the house.
How many leaves can I move with this?
Sadie and Dash teamed up for heavy duty leaf removal.
Then he just wanted to play in them!
This is one of Mommy's favorite pictures ever.
The leaves were wet and heavy so we couldn't blow them all the way to the street. Mommy and Daddy made rows and then pushed them onto a tarp and hauled them to the street. It took all day!
Here is Daddy with one load. We got quite a workout.
Here you can see the piles (This is just from the front yard and they continue on the other side of the driveway.)
After a long day of leaf removal, the Turners headed to Marion for a Halloween Party. Sadie was a pirate (Parent hint: don't use washable marker for face paint - it was everywhere!) and Dash went as a monster (it was too hot for his robot or dragon costume)
