July 2011 Cabin 2

After going on the boat, Sadie decided to stay and play on shore with Dash and Daddy.

Dash likes to hang out with Paw Paw.

Cousin Thomas and Kristie arrived and Sadie remembered how much she loved talking with him when he came for Grandma's retirement.

Uncle Brian made french toast and it was a big hit - especially with two-teeth McGee who went "mmmm, mmmm, mmmm" the whole time he ate.

Snuggles with gg-grandma are great when you're tired, but not quite ready for nap.

Cousin Ann Marie arrived with Andrew and Sadie quickly got to bossing him around.

He was a little tired after the drive and had to relax with his animal for a little bit.

Auntie Ann and Mommy took Sadie out on the tube so Andrew could have a little rest.

Brian and Ann also went on the tube.

Dasher hung out with Daddy when he woke up.

Sadie and Andrew went for a paddle boat ride with Aunt Debbie and Grandma.

Wolverbrian.

Uncle Thomas took a turn at water skiing.
(This was right after he jumped in with his glasses on and lost them.)

Have you seen this man?

Mommy is ready to go.

Sadie played with Mrs. Kristie in the shallow water.
(Mrs. Kristie and Mr. Thomas are expecting a little boy at the beginning of September)

Mommy and Ann Marie went tubing - it has been over 10 years since they went tubing together.

Here's a picture of Mommy and Uncle Brian tubing a LONG time ago.

July 2011 Michigan Cabin

Uncle Brian and Mommy drove up on Thursday night because Daddy and Auntie Ann had to work.
Lucky Brian got to be in the car for a whole 8 hours with two little kids.
I believe Sadie talked most of the way there.

Friday was beautiful and Dash loved climbing on all the new people he met.

We didn't have a life vest small enough for little guy - so we improvised with this flowery tube-suit.

Sadie loved going on the boat and wanted to go faster and faster.
(She kept saying that it was like a roller coaster and she can't wait to ride a roller coaster.)

Mommy was so glad that she finally had a chance to water ski after missing out on all the fun last year.

Uncle Brian can wake board like a pro!
(Especially after a lot of practice in Jamaica on his honeymoon.)

Aunt Debbie looks relaxed watching Uncle Brian.

Sadie also liked to play in the sand and water close to shore.

I don't know Uncle Larry may have the cuter smile.

We decided that Sadie was old enough to go on a slower tube ride with Mommy.

Here they are going a little faster.  Sadie was giggling and squealing the whole time.
She got a little nervous when we hit bumps from another boat's wake.

Grandma snuggled Sadie on the ride back to shore.

2011 June Videos

Eating is so exciting - check out those feet!
(notice how he is always on the verge of tears)

Dash really wanted to go outside.

He wants to join Daddy by the grill.

Sisters are hilarious - listen to that belly laugh!
(Don't worry Sadie is not actually hitting him, just the chair.)

7-4-2011 A "Warm and Cheerful" 4th of July

Because of our cousin's wedding, we could not go to Aunt Debbie's cabin for the 4th of July.
So Team Turner headed to Centerville for the festivities.

Grandma took Sadie right up to the street to see the parade.  By the end of the parade, Sadie had accumulated quite a stash of candy from the participants.

Dash slept through most of it.

A butterfly really liked Daddy's shirt and stayed with us for a little bit.

There were some special guests in the parade - Darth Vador!

Grandma took Dash down with her when he woke up.  HE loved the fire trucks.

Brian and Ann chose to sleep in, but they joined us for health fair food after the parade was over.
I have never seen so many people in Centerville.  It was difficult to keep track of everybody.

Brian enjoyed his chili-cheese fries (he stood in line forever for these!)
Daddy had Louisiana swamp mix - crawfish, alligator and other assorted meats and sausages.

We found a nice place to sit, eat and listen to music.  Sadie tackled Ann for tickles.

Ann liked the sweet potato fies.

Dash was very interested in the camera - Hi Mommy!

6-30-2011 Hanging with our new neighbor friends

WE met our neighbors at the splash pad.

Dominic and Sadie played really well together.
(Dominic is one week younger than Sadie.)

Look at those smiles.

This is the only picture I could snap of Dash and Luca because htey were both crawling all over the plce. (Luca is one month older than Dash.)

I get a smile when we are strapped still.
